Are you right for Tilly?

Tilly is a spritely older lady looking for a peaceful, adult-only home where she can enjoy her golden years in comfort. While she can be a little sensitive when it comes to handling and prefers to have her space as she doesn’t like to share her favourite things people. Tilly can live with another calm dog following a successful meet at the centre. She enjoys the company of other dogs and can be quite playful with them. She loves going out for on-lead walks with calm doggy friends. Her new family will need to visit her a few times at the centre to get to know her better, and our behaviourists will be on hand to offer guidance on how to support her as she transitions into her new home. Tilly was previously in a home and was housetrained, and has previously been fine when left alone for a few hours, though it’s possible her routines may need a little refreshing as she settles in. She’s a clever girl who loves food and is always happy to show off her tricks in exchange for tasty treats. Tilly enjoys using her beagle nose to sniff out treats and explore her environment. Though she’s a little older, she’s still an active lady who loves her walks and would be thrilled to go out regularly to keep her mind and body stimulated.

Is Tilly right for you?

Tilly does have ongoing medical needs that her new family will need to be aware of and manage, and our team at the centre would be happy to talk you through this. She isn't aware that she’s 12 years old, but this doesn't stop her from enjoying her walkies to the fullest with all her friends (human and doggy) and always getting the comfiest nap spot! Tilly is looking for a home that can provide her with the care and attention she needs to live out her golden years comfortably. If you think you can provide the home Tilly deserves, please Apply to Adopt or come into our centre and speak to our Adoption Advisors.
