Are you right for Jupiter?

Jupiter is a 6 year old Dobermann cross who is looking for someone to be his best friend for life! This dinky Dobie is a total velcro boy and loves nothing more than to spend time with you chilling, cuddling and watching TV together. This affectionate boy is looking for an adult only home where he is the only pet. Jupiter requires direct access to his own private garden that is fully secured with a 6ft minimum fence. This will allow him a safe space of his own to play fetch and explore peacefully. As Jupiter does struggle with his reactivity when he spots dogs or people in the distance, he will need to be exercised out and about on a lead and muzzle. However, he has made so much progress with his training during his time at the centre, making lots of new friends when introduced carefully. Jupiter is really friendly with people that he knows and adores playing games, getting back scratches and snuggling up.

Is Jupiter right for you?

A committed owner with previous experience of owning a dog as an adult is essential as we are looking for him to continue smashing his training. Jupiter's ideal home would be nice and rural so he wouldn't worry about the stresses of strangers (people and dogs). Having someone around for most of the day would be great but he could be left for a few hours once settled. Jupiter will make a really fun and loving companion for the right person. Jupiter is fully housetrained and really enjoys his home comforts - cuddles and/or tennis ball are his favourite things in the world! Jupiter will require multiple meets at the centre, and home visits, before his adoption to set him up for success. He will require someone to help him thrive but he has so much potential and will make a very rewarding dog!
