Are you right for Reggie?

Reggie is a lovely young boy who is on the lookout for a quiet, adult-only home as the only pet, This is so he can learn all about the world and build his confidence in his own time. He would be the perfect match for any family wanting to do some training with their dog, as he is very eager to please. Reggie does find the world a worrying place at times and so a secure garden is essential to give him that safe outside space away from the wider world. He has some ongoing medical needs including hip dysplasia. If this would be the only thing that would prevent you from considering Reggie please do get in touch so we can have a chat about this with you.

Is Reggie right for you?

Are you looking for a bit of a training project who is very eager to please? Then meet Reggie, our 1yr old German Shepherd. He came into our care after being found as a stray and this ordeal at such a young age has left him with a few worries in life. At heart he is an affectionate young boy and a real snuggle bug with his regular carers. Reggie can get frustrated seeing other dogs out and about and can get himself in a bit of a pickle, so a low dog-populated area would suit him best. However he is able to mix with some dogs, given careful introductions. All aspects of home-life should be introduced gradually, but he really does try to remain housetrained, even in kennels. Reggie has worked on building his confidence getting into the car and is now quite happy getting in, though travel is still an unknown. We just know with patient and understanding owners he will flourish, and our training team will be on hand to assist you with this every step of the way. Beneath his worries he really is an amazing lad, and we can’t wait to see him fulfil his potential.
