Tilly the Labrador in a wintry field

Imagine having nowhere to go at Christmas.

We expect even more dog’s just like Tilly to come through our doors in the coming months.

Will you help them find their happy place with a gift today?

Just like for us, a dog’s happy place at Christmas should be in a home, surrounded by their favourite people, warmth, safety and love. But with more dogs being relinquished or even abandoned this time of year due to factors like the cost of living crisis or changes in a dogs behaviour over the festive season, our rehoming centres are becoming more vital. With an 86% increase in handover enquiries in recent years, we need your support to provide dogs in need with the next best place to be this Christmas.

After all, doesn’t every dog deserve a happy place – whatever that looks like for them?

Your gift today could help us provide a dog in need with all their favourite things this Christmas – whether that’s:

Diving into dinner

For many of us, food is a big part of Christmas – sharing tasty treats and a special dinner with our loved ones. Your gift could give the dogs in our care the same experience.

By making a donation today, you could help provide a special Christmas dinner and yummy treats for a dog in our care.

Playing with their favourite toy

Our dogs love opening presents too! Your gift means they could have their very own toy to unwrap on Christmas morning, so they know they’re loved during a time of huge change.

Your donation could provide toys to help a dog settle in after losing their home.

Snuggling up tight

Along with all the vital veterinary care and behavioural training, you can make sure dogs have the warmth, and snuggly blankets needed to help create a safe and happy place.

More and more dogs are at risk of having nowhere to go this winter.

Will you give a gift today and help dogs without a home find happiness in our care this Christmas.

Thank you.

P.S if you have already donated to this appeal then thank you so much for the difference you’re making.

Donations will go towards all areas of Dogs Trust's work and help care for dogs where the need is greatest.
