Are you right for Buddy Chihuahua?

Buddy is a four-year-old Chihuahua looking for a home. He could live with teenage children in the home. He is looking for a home without another dog so he can have all his toys and food for himself. With visitors to the home, Buddy may be shy initially, at least until they have sat down and made themselves at home. Buddy may need help with his housetraining. He will need a home with access to the garden as he will choose to toilet outside if the back-door is open with access to the garden. He will need a home without cats or small furries and we have no history of him living with livestock. Buddy is currently living off-site in a foster home on our Home from Home Scheme.

Is Buddy Chihuahua right for you?

Buddy is a handsome little man who may appear a bit aloof when you first meet. He’s a friendly chap who enjoys a fuss on his terms and his adopters will need to be respectful of this. He likes to play with toys, especiallly soft teddies, and he enjoys high value treats such as, hot dog sausage, chicken or cheese. Why not teach him some basic training and tricks using positive-reward-based training! Buddy has met a few dogs since arriving in our care. He may sometimes give a little woof when they are in the distance, and he does not mind walking with dogs who are calm and will not jump all over him. Buddy is a fan of fair weather and dislikes rain. Buddy will make a nice little companion for whoever adopts him.
