Are you right for Jade?

Jade is a lovely little lady with so much character. In true collie style, she loves to play catch with her favourite humans and is rather partial to a squeaky toy that she can fling around. Jade is currently living off site in a foster home, where she has truly settled into home life and done lots of great work with her foster family to help her realise the world isn't such a scary place. Although she can still find certain noises overwhelming, she trusts her carers to reassure her and keep her safe. She loves fuss and cuddles from everyone she meets, and will always try for a belly rub if she can get away with it. Jade would love nothing more than a peaceful forever home, where she can lay outside in the sunshine, enjoy lots of gentle walks, and people watch at cafés, pubs or markets, any opportunity to make a new friend! Jade is happy to spend time with other calm doggy friends, but can get anxious if they are too boisterous or don't respect her boundaries. She could share her home with older children who can give her space when she needs it and continue to help her with her noise sensitivity. Although she's an older lady, Jade still acts like a puppy sometimes and finds interesting ways to get your attention and always make you smile. But she's quick to learn and adapt to what she is and isn't allowed to do. She is fully house trained and happy to be left for short periods of time once comfortable in her surroundings.

Is Jade right for you?

Jade currently has physio sessions here at the centre, which she LOVES as she gets all of the attention! This will need to be continued in her forever home. She is also on medication, which new owners will need to be understanding of. Our home from home team will be happy to tell you all need to know about this beautiful little lady!
