Are you right for Missie?

Missie is a very sweet 15 year old senior lady looking for a home to call her own for her retirement years. Don't let her age fool you, Missie still enjoys getting out for a couple of brisk walks each day in her foster home. She is looking for a home where she won't be left alone for too long and she enjoys nothing more than a comfy sofa to snooze on throughout the day. If someone can sit beside her and give her lots of attention they will soon become her favourite person. Missie enjoys the quiet life in her senior years, and so if there are any children in the home it would be better suited for them to be sensible and of secondary school age. She has not lived with other pets so it would be ideal if she was an only pet, however she could potentially share with another calm dog after successful meets.

Is Missie right for you?

Missie's foster carers describe her as a wonderful dog and they are thoroughly enjoying her company. She is a true adventurer and likes getting out to explore new walking areas and sniffing all that was there before her visit. At home she likes pottering around the garden, snoozing on the sofa whilst demanding that her foster carers pet her and on her terms she will have short play sessions with her teddy bear. She is housetrained and has adjusted extremely well to her foster home and a new routine. If you think you could offer Missie her forever home, then please complete an adoption application and include her as one of your ‘Favourite’ dogs.
