Are you right for Blane?

Meet Blane! Blane is a curious and playful 3-year-old German Shepherd cross looking for his forever home. This handsome boy is eager to explore new surroundings and make every day an adventure. While he must be the only dog in the home, Blane is more than happy to have doggy buddies he can walk and play rough with when out and about—he loves a good play session! Due to Blane's high prey drive he is not suitable to live with cats or small furries. Adorable Blane melts the hearts of his handlers and would make a lovely companion in an active household. He enjoys the company of sensible teenagers aged 16 and up who can respect his boundaries and join in the fun. Blane must be kept on lead in public and he is looking for a home with owners who understand his needs and can offer the guidance and care he deserves. He is still working on his housetraining, but he already knows how to 'sit' like a pro! He would like an owner to help him work on his impulse control and basic manners. This smart boy would thrive in a home with owners who have experience with his breed and can continue his socialisation and training journey.

Is Blane right for you?

When it comes to being handled, Blane is a superstar. He's a good boy when getting his harness and collar fitted and during vet examinations. He likes being groomed and can be tactile, enjoying a fuss on his terms. Blane is a foodie at heart, with a particular fondness for treats and slow feeders that keep him entertained and satisfied. He is also a big fan of tennis balls, carrying them around and chasing them, although he can get a bit over-excited at times. He loves to play fetch and goof around in his free time and as he continues to discover the joy of other toys, Blane is sure to bring endless fun to his new family. If you are ready to provide a loving, structured environment for this intelligent and affectionate boy, Blane could be your perfect match!
