Are you right for Lily?

Lily can live with children over the age of 16 and will need to be the only pet as she can be jealous over attention. She is house trained but suffers a little separation anxiety so need someone at home with her constantly.

Is Lily right for you?

Lily is a very gentle girl who who hates to be alone and is rather sad about having to come back in to our care. She is hesitant about meeting new people and likes to approach them first, but she has formed a lovely strong bond with her handlers. Lily has been exploring the site but likes to check in with her people to make sure they're close by. She likes to walk with calm dogs and she should have some nice friends outside of the home, but she will panic and react if dogs are running off lead by her. Lil will need to be the only dog in the home though as she doesn't like other dogs receiving attention when she isn't. Lily also objects to her people hugging and will try to put herself in between - she may be a perfect companion for someone in a single person household. This is also the reason we will not rehome her to a household where there are children under 16. She's going to need time to settle in to her new home and her family will need to be patient. Lily has been through a lot the last few years and will need to find her own routine. Although she will need someone with her almost constantly initially, she can gradually have time alone increased to she learns there's nothing to worry about. Our training team will happily work with you to put a plan in place to help you do this. She loves to be made a fuss of with gentle strokes and kind words but she doesn't enjoy being hugged tightly or restricted in any way.
