Are you right for Ben?

Ben is a sweet and cheeky little chap who despite his age is full of beans. He enjoys getting out and going for walks and the more sniffing he can do the better! Ben's nose is fantastic, if there's a treat to be found, Ben will be sure to find it. Ben does have a sensitive side so he is looking for an adult only home, with no visiting children and very few adult visitors, who can give him plenty of time and space to settle in. Ben finds visits to the vet not a very pleasant thing and does have to wear a muzzle so his new owners will need to be very understanding and continue his training. Ben enjoys human company but is not a ‘lap dog’, and will need a really hands off approach so that he can settle at his own pace. Ben will need to meet his new family multiple times before he can go home so that they can learn all about his ongoing training needs, and so that he can get to know them. Ben will need his own secure garden where he can explore, play fetch, and sunbathe! He could share his new home with another similar size, calm dog but his new family will need to be able to manage him around his favourite things such as at dinner time!

Is Ben right for you?

Ben is a fab little boy who can be quite chatty! Despite being an older lad he still loves going out for walks, and would like a home where he can still go for adventures! He is a sensitive boy and takes a few meets to gain his confidence with new people especially in regards to handling, but does enjoy a bit of fuss once he knows you. He loves nothing more than playing fetch and zooming around with a toy in his mouth, which is a great way to help build a bond with him! Ben has been in a home previously but will need refreshing on all of his basics including housetraining. Any time left alone will need to be built up gradually, leaving him with lots to keep him busy- as he can become vocal if left for long periods of time. Ben is a fab little boy who needs a family who can be really patient with him.
