Are you right for Paddy?

Paddy is a really special, clever young dog who loves his training. He will need an understanding, adult-only family who are happy to go through a longer adoption process including training practicals so that you know just how he likes things! Paddy needs to be the only pet in the home but he can have some quiet walking friends when out and about. He has previously shown resource-guarding behaviours, and though his training has come on in leaps and bounds he’ll benefit from having a space of his very own to settle in and for food. A secure garden is also a must so he has a space to run around and play in.

Is Paddy right for you?

Paddy is our absolute superstar of a 4yr old Jack Russell/Pug Cross. It takes a little time, but he forms close bonds with people and has come a long way with his training. Paddy can be a worried by lorries and other large vehicles going past, so a quieter home set back from main roads would be just what he’s looking for. He has been in kennels for a while now, so while he should be able to be left for a couple of hours, this will need building back up gradually. Fortunately he is happy enough in the car and should be able to join his new family on trips out and about. He is also fully housetrained. Paddy will make a great, sassy, playful companion to the right home that is looking to take on a bit of a project pooch.
