Are you right for Wiley?

Wiley is looking for a loving adult home where he can have the maximum amount of company. Time left alone will need to be built up gradually. He adores his home comforts, sleeps well through the night, and is housetrained. It will take Wiley a few days to settle into a new home routine and his adopters will need to be understanding and patient. He is instantly friendly with new people and would be happy with visitors to the home. He could cope with a reasonably busy home environment. He is looking for a home where he can be the only pet, so no cats, or small furries. Care maybe needed around livestock and chickens. Wiley is happy to get in the car and he travels better if he has a human sat in the back with him, or if he is in the boot he likes some enrichment, like a likki mat, and toys. Experience of the breed would be helpful.

Is Wiley right for you?

Wiley is a gorgeous six-year-old Staffordshire Bull Terrier who loves his toys. He enjoys running around with a ball and will often play by himself in your company. You can get a game going by having two balls and then he can drop one ball for another ball to be thrown. Wiley enjoys positive reward training. He is learning a 'drop', and a 'leave' as he can be snatchy with his toys. He enjoys treats until there is a ball around and then the ball trumps the treats. He knows a 'sit' and he is currently working on name response when out and about. Wiley enjoys going out for walks. He would best suit quieter walks in low dog populated areas so both of you do not have to feel overwhelmed. He can walk in areas where there are other dogs at a distance. He dislikes them running up to him and would rather have some space so he can relax and enjoy his walk. He has learnt to wear a muzzle for when out and about so you can have that peace of mind. Wiley is loving, affectionate, enjoys a fuss., and most of all he adores being with you.
