Are you right for Steely?

Steely can live with children over 14 and he'll need to be the only pet. We have no history for him and cannot guarantee that he is house trained, but it's more than likely at his age. He has suffered from sore ears in the past and there is a chance that this may reappear in the future. We're also open for someone to offer Steely a foster space, as he arrived in our care as a stray and we have no idea what he is like in a home environment, but you would have to live within an hour of the centre. Applications for adoptions will be taken from anywhere.

Is Steely right for you?

Steely is a friendly boy who arrived in our care in January 2024. We believe he's about seven years old and he loves to explore and has lots of confidence, happily sticking his head into every corner in case he misses something! He enjoys gentle fuss but his favourite thing in the world is balls! He just loves to play and will bring the ball back to you for the game to continue indefinitely! Steely can be a little unsure of new people and a slow approach goes a long way to gaining his trust. He's not a fan of other dogs and especially meeting them face to face, but he will walk by them if there's enough space between them that he's comfortable with. He's such a sweet boy and it makes us sad to see him still with us after more than a year, someone is really missing out on the best mate.
