Rolo

I'm looking for my forever home. Could you be my perfect match?

May live with
Secondary school age children.

Are you right for Rolo?

Rolo can live with children of high school age but will need to be the only dog. He is house trained but needs a home with a garden that he can toilet in as it may be a little while before he's comfortable enough in a new area to toilet on a walk.

Is Rolo right for you?

Five year old Rolo is a lovely boy who came to us via our local dog warden. He lacks a little confidence but he's super friendly and gives out his hugs very freely. He's getting better every day and loves to be made a fuss of, and is the smushiest baby. It's best to let Rolo come to you for a fuss and be able to take himself away if he's feeling uncomfortable. When he trusts you he can't get enough of you! He is naturally friendly and curious but allowing him to go at his own pace will definitely help him. We have no history for Rolo and don't know what his experience with other dogs has been, and he doesn't quite seem to know how to interact, so prefers to avoid. He does have a couple of quiet friends that he has walkies with and is making steady progress. He would benefit from some calm walking friends once home, ones he can find confidence in and who won't invade his space too much. Rolo loves his toys! He loves to play fetch with tennis balls and will bring them back to you to throw again each time. As we don't know Rolo's background, we can't say that he is used to spending time by himself, but after a night or two at home with his carer, we think he'd probably be OK for two hours or so. He's such a sweet boy who deserves a fresh start with a loving family.
