Coco’s amazing recovery!
Going the extra mile for a little dog with a skin condition.
Coco is a 10yr old Lhasa Apso Maltese cross who was handed over to us with skin issues that his owners were struggling to manage. Sadly, this meant that his skin had become very sore and itchy. Thankfully his owners reached out to us so we could treat his condition and then find him a suitable forever home.

Our Vet prescribed regular medicated baths which immediately eased the itchiness and gradually helped his skin heal. After only a couple of baths, and as his other medications kicked in, he quickly came out of his shell and showed us how playful he is!

As soon as he was feeling better, we were able to properly groom him, and we could see how comfortable he felt afterwards. He was showing much more of his wonderful character and a very affectionate side of him started to come out too.

He was quickly adopted by Paul and Margaret who absolutely adore him!
From the moment Coco arrived he settled straight into our home. He picked his spot on the sofa and likes to snooze there! He’s a wonderful dog to have around and has been no bother at all. He really enjoys watching the world go by from our lounge window too.

We’re so happy that we were able help little Coco get back on his paws and it fills our hearts to see him living his best life in his forever home. This is why we’ll always go the extra mile to help dogs in need.
