Firework season can be stressful for many dogs, with nearly half of the UK’s pet dogs affected by firework displays. We advise having a cosy night in with your dog to help them cope with the noise of fireworks, so we’ve joined forces to create the ideal relaxing evening, whether you like to enjoy a film on Sky or NOW or some music with Magic Classical.

We’ve worked with Sky and NOW to launch a dedicated Bonfire Night pop-up TV channel featuring a specially curated lineup of films that help create a soothing environment, helping owners and their dogs while fireworks parties and displays are happening. Available on Sky channel 310 from 6am November 1 to 6am November 6, the selection includes lighthearted, feel-good movies designed to keep both owners and pets at ease.

Together, we carefully selected titles that foster a relaxed atmosphere, helping owners stay calm and transmit that calmness to their four-legged-friends. The channel includes family favorites like Bridget Jones’s Diary, Shrek, and E.T., as well as upbeat comedies that owners will enjoy. The films are also available on demand for Sky Cinema customers and NOW Cinema members, offering flexibility to tune in when it’s best for you and your pet.

If you prefer to unwind with a spot of classical music, Magic Classical are offering a calming playlist, with soothing tracks likes Pachelbel’s Canon and Carnival of the Animals, offering the perfect ambiance for dogs to settle while owners can unwind with tuneful treats for the ears.

Presented by dog-loving host Emma B from Magic Radio, the playlist is available on the Rayo app now.
