Underdog Bobby finds his forever home

Bobby first arrived at with us at Dogs Trust in 2022, through no fault of his own, after a change in his owners’ circumstances. Despite this challenging start, his sweet nature quickly won over adopters, and Bobby found a new home. Sadly, things didn’t go as planned, and before long, Bobby was back with us.

Returning to the centre, Bobby was shy and unsure, struggling to find his confidence. It was clear he needed a family who could see beyond his initial nerves and dedicate the time and patience to help him flourish. With a tailored plan in place, Bobby began meeting potential adopters who understood his needs and were willing to visit regularly to build a bond.

After two years, Bobby's patience pays off

After months of gentle introductions, the perfect match walked through our doors. Bobby’s new best friend committed to getting to know him, and their connection grew stronger with every visit. After several successful home trials and careful preparation, Bobby was finally ready to make the big move.

759 days after he first arrived at Dogs Trust, Bobby’s adoption day had come! Surrounded by his canine carers who had supported him every step of the way, Bobby enjoyed a farewell party filled with love and wagging tails. His new family couldn’t wait to welcome him home, and Bobby trotted off to start his next chapter.
