Are you right for Hank?

Handsome Hank is on the search for his forever home. Hank has spent almost his whole life in kennels and is likely to find the outside world a bit overwhelming so he needs adopters who can provide a calm learning environment for him to settle into the home. Hank will need an adult only home because he barks at children so any visiting the home would have to be teenagers or older. He will need to be muzzled at all times when on walks as he has shown reactivity towards children. Hank would like to enjoy a private and secure garden where he can have off lead time with his favourite people. When first arriving home, his adopters would need to be around for most of the time to help him settle in, leaving hours can then be built up over time. Hank does have hip dysplasia and is currently having hydrotherapy, his new family would need to arrange hydrotherapy sessions either here or locally to them to continue this. Hanks new family will need to meet him multiple times to build a bond with him before he can go home. He will need to be on lead in public as he can get overwhelmed and will hump when he has big emotions.

Is Hank right for you?

Hank is a 2-year-old Anatolian Shepherd and a giant goofball of fun. Despite his size, Hank often thinks he is the size of a Chihuahua and loves to have lap cuddles on the sofa with his favourite people. Hank loves to play games with his toys, the soft ones are his favourite as he likes to throw them around to chase. He is a super clever boy and knows lots of basics including sit, down, touch, bed, and has good recall. He is super eager to learn new things and it keeps his mind active and engaged. Hank is a wonderful boy who is sure to bring you lots of love and laughter into your life.
