Are you right for Alfie?

2-years and 7 month-old Bichon Frise crossbreed Alfie is looking for a quiet adult only home with not many visitors, he is a nervous boy around new people and needs to be given space to greet people in his own time. He is looking for a home in a quiet location with a private secure garden he can call his own without any distractions, he will need to remain on lead in public. Any leaving hours will need to be built up slowly until Alfie is comfortable being left for longer periods. His new family will need to meet him multiple times here at the center before he goes home and our training team are available to help with ongoing training. Alfie can have calm walking buddies.

Is Alfie right for you?

Alfie has been returned to us due to showing unwanted behaviours, he is a very worried boy so is looking for an understanding home that have time and patience allowing him to adjust to his new environment. He is a sweet little boy who has had a sheltered life before coming to Dogs Trust. It doesn’t take him long to make friends but he is initially wary of meeting new people. Once he knows you Alfie's little personality shines through he loves to play tug, gets very excited when he knows he is going for a walk and will be your best friend for a piece of cheese, he just needs a family who can go at his pace and acknowledge when he is uncomfortable. He is fully housetrained in his foster home and has proved to be a perfect house guest.
