Are you right for Hamilton?

Handsome Hamilton is an 8 year old Bulldog who has been in our care for a little while now. He is a sensitive boy who can take time to make new friends and build relationships but once you're in his trusted circle you're a friend for life. He's hoping to find dedicated and understanding adopters who are able to take things and his pace and give him all the time he need to settle back into home life. He would love an adult only home with minimal visitors and our training and behaviour team will happily guide you through the training he's currently working on. Hamilton is a social boy and could happily share his new home with another dog following a meeting here at the centre. He also has history of living with cats previously, so could again following careful introductions. Hamilton is a typical Bulldog and wont be running any marathons any time soon! He's quite happy to enjoy gentle potters with his doggy friends and much prefers the quiet life. He loves all the comforts of home and loves snoozing his day away on a comfy cosy bed.

Is Hamilton right for you?

Hamilton is a sensitive little guy, who isn't quite as confident as he can seem. He will need time and patience whilst he settles into his forever home. His new family should be aware that things like stair gates etc may need to be in place in the home for any visitors and so he can enjoy peaceful mealtimes without being disturbed. He does have some ongoing medical needs and his new family will need to be understanding of this and be able to fund any costs that may come from them.
