Are you right for Ringo?

Ringo is looking for a home as the only pet and where any children are over the age of 16. He will need somebody at home for most of the day as he may be destructive and we cannot guarantee that he will be house trained. Ringo will need his new family to be experienced in handling large breeds and to research his breed before applying. He will need his new home to have plenty of space and a large secure garden, and we would advise that two people should walk him!

Is Ringo right for you?

Giant boy Ringo has wowed us all here at the centre with his size and beauty! He has settled well into kennels and enjoys getting out for a zoomie around our freerun area. Ringo does get very excited when he sees other dogs and will need his new owners to be able to handle his strength when this happens, and to be able to work on some focus work. When it comes to exploring new places, big doesn't always mean brave, and Ringo can be a little wary of new spaces at first. He should always be introduced to new things at his own pace and should never be rushed or forced into anything he finds worrying. Ringo loves a fuss and has been happy to lean in for cuddles with his handlers who adore him. He has been happy to make new friends here and was even happy to meet our vet. His new family will need to work on teaching him to greet people calmly and with all fours on the ground or he could easily knock somebody over.
