Are you right for Cluedo?

Cluedo is a sweet, still puppy-like boy (even though he’s 2!) who has had an unsettled start to life. He has some worries and requires an adult-only home as the only pet. He’s sociable with other dogs though, and happy to have walking or play buddies when out and about. Once Cluedo knows you he is happy with handling and fuss, but he does need a little time and space to get comfortable first. Therefore, new adopters will need to visit Cluedo several times before he is ready for adoption. Cluedo’s biggest challenge is sensitivity with veterinary handling, and he needs to build up a good relationship with his vet before they handle him. Cluedo has come a long way with his training though, and we’ll show you how to set him up for success.

Is Cluedo right for you?

Cluedo has spent some of his vital socialisation phases in kennels, which does mean he has some worries, especially around new people and new environments. Amongst those that work with him he is definitely a favourite, and if you are looking for a dog to train or to do agility or scent games then Cluedo is definitely one to consider! He’s heaps of fun and a real smart cookie who has already mastered lots of cues and tricks. Cluedo is a very loving, yet sensitive boy who will thrive if given the time and patience he deserves. His biggest hurdle in a home is sensitivity with veterinary handling, and he needs to build up a good relationship with his vet before they handle him. Cluedo has come a long way with his training though, and we’ll show you how to set him up for success. In his previous home he was able to be left alone for a couple of hours, but having been in kennels for a while would need this to be built back up from scratch.
