Are you right for Jet?

Jet is a 2-year-old collie cross. Jet is a young and active boy who is full of life! He is a friendly lad who is happy to say hello to everyone he meets and can live with children aged 14 and above. Jet is a typical collie who loves to be in the great outdoors where he can explore and burn off some energy. He would love to have an active home to take him on lots of exciting adventures, although he will need to be on lead until he has learnt good recall. Jet can forget his manners and jump up at times when he is feeling stressed or excited, such as when new people are fussing him. He can feel threatened with forceful handling and is looking for experienced people who are confident with dog body language to take his training at his pace when he is comfortable. He is already doing an amazing job with his training so far but would love for his new owners to continue to build up his confidence in his new home and help him flourish into the amazing dog he is. Jet is a super playful boy who is at his happiest when playing with his favourite toys. He would love to have a garden where he can do lots of zoomies, continue his 1-2-1 training and play fetch until his hearts content. Jet is happy to have dog friends after an introduction, although he would like to be the only pet in the home. Jet would like for his new family to meet him here at the centre multiple times to build up a strong bond and understand his training needs before heading into his new home.

Is Jet right for you?

Jet is a sweet boy with lots of love to give. He is an affectionate lad who loves to cosy up with his family for a fuss at the end of the day. He is a total foodie and will accept any treat happily. He is very clever and can show off a good few tricks, as long as you can offer him a tasty treat in return! He would love for his new owners to be keen to continue his training in the home. He is fully housetrained and would prefer for someone to be at home with him most of the day to keep him company. Jet is a terrific boy who will make a great addition to a family looking for a trainable, lively dog. AWE licence number 176240 by West Lothian Council.
