Are you right for Trilby?

Trilby is a beautiful boy, aged approximately three-years-old. Originally found as a stray, we haven’t got any information on his background before his arrival in our care. However, we have been working closely with him to determine what we feel would make for his ideal home! As a boy with lots of energy, yet lacking in general confidence, we think Trilby would suit an active family, who could provide him with the guidance and reward-based training he needs to flourish. While very eager to learn and able to pick things up easily, Trilby does need support with helping to manage his frustration. He can jump up and bark when feeling overwhelmed and struggles with seeing other dogs about. As such, we feel that he would thrive in an adult-only home, without any other pets. Despite his high energy levels, Trilby would prefer a quieter household, where he can adjust to his new environment. A private garden would be beneficial for him, especially when it comes to toilet training, and it would also give him the opportunity for off-lead time! Quiet and calm walks will help Trilby to feel at ease while he works on his training.

Is Trilby right for you?

Trilby is a very playful chap who absolutely LOVES his toys! He’s especially fond of the squeaky kind and will proudly parade around with them, showing off to his people pals in the hope it’ll entice them in for a game of tug! Playing fun games with Trilby is a great way to build a bond with him. He’s also keen to utilise his clever brain while working on his training or keeping busy with dog-friendly enrichment activities! Once he’s built up a relationship with you, Trilby is a true sweetheart and is bound to make for a very loving and loyal companion to the right home.
