Are you right for Rolo?

Rolo would benefit from living with a confident dog and he can live with children of high school age. Because we have no history for him we cannot guarantee that he is house trained or used to spending time alone.

Is Rolo right for you?

Rolo is the most adorable tiny Collie who may not have seen much of the outside world before arriving at the centre. He wasn't used to walking on a lead but has taken to it well and begun to enjoy his walks, although sometimes he likes to stand and watch for a moment before deciding to continue on. His adopters can help him by walking him at quiet times and in quiet areas initially to help build his confidence outdoors. Rolo is fearful or traffic and the team at the centre can help his new family work on this with him. He is also nervous about meeting new people but allowing him to approach first certainly helps, rather than have people coming up to him. Rolo really likes being around other dogs and seems more confident when he is with them. We see him become more comfortable and start to play and we think living with a gentle and calm dog would do wonders for him, but it would have to me a male or neutered female as he gets a little overexcited around the girls!
