Are you right for Boris?

Boris is a Lab cross who is looking for a quiet, adult-only home. Spending time with other dogs is one of Boris’s favourite things, and he would be able to live with another dog. Any match would be subject to successful mixes at the centre prior to rehoming. Boris appreciates a gradual introduction to new faces and would ask to meet any potential guests on walks before they came round. As he can get worried by strangers he wears a muzzle when out and about as a precaution. Don’t let that fool you though because once you’ve become his friend he’ll absolutely love fuss and being around you!

Is Boris right for you?

Boris is 5 years old and found himself in kennels through no fault of his own. More recently he has spent some time away from kennels with one of our staff and did really well. He settled very quickly and proved himself to be fully housetrained. Boris is really tactile and loves fuss and attention from his carers, this just needs to be built up with new people. He’s amazing on lead and really good out and about though. Boris wasn’t keen on being left alone in the home, so would ask his new family to build this up slowly. He’s more than content to settle while you’re doing something else though, so would be great for someone working from home. Car trips are ok as he’s happy enough to hop in, though can whine a little while travelling so some confidence-building would be welcomed, learning that being in the car means fun trips out! A dedicated family that will take their time getting to know him is just what he needs, and they are sure to be rewarded tenfold with all that Boris has to offer.
