Are you right for Lexi?

Lexi is a lively and intelligent 2-year-old Terrier Cross seeking an adult-only home with no more than two people, and no visiting children. As a noise-sensitive girl, Lexi would thrive in a quiet environment, away from the hustle and bustle of busy roads. She needs a calm space where there are fewer triggers to overwhelm her. Lexi's ideal owners will have experience with dogs and be dedicated to continuing her training programmes and routines. Remember that our training team at Salisbury will be there to support you every step of the way as you help Lexi settle into her new home. Lexi enjoys the company of other dogs and will need to live with a confident dog, following a successful introduction at the Centre. However, she cannot live with cats or small animals. She travels well in the car, but any time left alone will need to be built up gradually once she feels secure in her new home.

Is Lexi right for you?

Lexi is super-smart and a fast learner who loves mental stimulation. She loves meaty treats and takes them very gently, making training a real pleasure. Alongside her daily walks, Lexi enjoys keeping her brain busy with enrichment activities like Kongs, snuffle mats, and lickimats. Her favourite things in the world are toys—she loves carrying them around and will happily swap one for another. You might even catch her playing tug with a doggy friend! Lexi does require daily medication to help manage her anxieties, but our team will provide all the advice and support needed when she goes to her new home. If you can offer Lexi a quiet environment where she can grow in confidence and truly flourish, she will quickly show you her playful and loving side. Please note that Lexi's adopters must be prepared to meet her several times, both at the Centre and at home, to build that crucial bond before she makes the move to her forever home. If you think you can provide the love and patience Lexi needs, we would love to hear from you!
