Are you right for Daisy?

Daisy is looking for a calm and loving home with adopters who will help her build her confidence and take her on adventures in quieter walking areas to begin with. She can be anxious initially when meeting people so she will need a quiet home with minimal visitors and any children in the home will need to be aged 16 and over. Daisy likes her space and is looking to be the only pet in the home and have no visiting dogs, she would be happy with walking buddies to keep her socialising as long as her adopters are able to advocate for her space if she is feeling uncomfortable, she will be going home on a lead and muzzle in public disclaimer. Daisy has some training under her belt, she does a lovely "sit", "down" and "paw" and is muzzle trained. She does like her treats, so will learn new things and keep her training up for a treat with someone she is comfortable around, she is not currently housetrained so will need access to a private, secure garden with 6ft fencing all around as she can jump. Daisy struggles to be left alone so will need her adopters home the majority of the time, with leaving being introduce gradually once she has had time to settle in. Daisy will need to meet her adopters multiple times with the potential of home visits prior to going home so please bear this in mind when applying. Please note that should you be shortlisted, our rehoming process usually takes up to 7 days, and potential adopters would be required to come up to the centre to meet her within 48hrs of being shortlisted.

Is Daisy right for you?

Super sweet and dinky Daisy is a 2 and a half year old Lurcher cross who has lots of love to give, she can be a little anxious around new things but with a trusted person her wiggly silliness shines through. Daisy loves to play with and chase toys, especially balls and fluffy teddies, after she has had a good chase around she will lean in for a fuss. Darling Daisy will make a lovely new addition to a family, if you think you could offer Daisy a wonderful home please apply to adopt.
