Are you right for Edna?

Meet Edna, a truly special little lady who is looking for a gentle, understanding home to help her on her road to recovery. At eight years old, this sweet Terrier Cross has been through a tough time, but her soft nature and loving heart are already beginning to shine through. Edna is looking for her forever home, with any children aged 14 and above. Once Edna gets to know you, she loves fuss and loves to be around her human friends. Edna is currently in one of a lovely foster homes and very much enjoys laying out in the sunshine and taking part in some garden activities, this for Edna includes sun bathing and getting some fuss in-between jobs. Edna has recently had a operation on her hip which she is recovering from really well. This does require building her strength but with such a brave and calm temperament Edna is doing so well already. She is ready to go to her new forever home, and new owners will have the support of Dogs Trust with her recovery and set everybody for success.

Is Edna right for you?

Despite everything she has been through, Edna’s gentle and affectionate side is starting to bloom. She can be a little anxious but enjoys human company and is very tolerant of handling. She has a wonderfully sweet nature. Edna sleeps well at night time and is doing well with her housetraining. She will make a perfect companion dog for someone. Edna is adventurous in the garden at the moment, as not able to go for walks.. So she would benefit from outdoor space would suit her well and when she feeling more up for it, she would love to go for short walks once she is feeling more confident. She travels well in the car but will need to be lifted in and out due to her recent surgery. Although she has shown little interest in toys so far, Edna has a great appetite and enjoys a tasty dental stick. Though she is still finding her feet, with time, patience, and lots of love, Edna will make the most devoted little companion. Edna may not be ready to play just yet, but with time, love, and patience, she will blossom into a wonderful companion. If you can offer her the care and kindness she deserves, she will be forever grateful. Could you be the one to give Edna a second chance at happiness?
