Are you right for Otto?

Meet Otto! He is a super handsome 2-year-old Dachshund who has spent some time here with us getting back on his paws. He has come on leaps and bounds and is now ready to find his special someone! Otto is looking for a home where he will be the only pet, and there will be no children. He likes to get out and about for his daily walks and can have dog friends (of a similar size) that join him on walks. Otto is a very clever boy and is a big foodie which will help him with his on-going training. Our training team have been working closely with Otto and know him inside and out. They will be there during his adoption process offering support and guidance at his meets and in preparation for heading to his forever home. Otto’s adopter will need to be able to be at home with him at first, and then once he is settled into his new routine and environment, leaving time can be built up to 3-4 hours. Any potential adopters will need to be prepared to maintain his gorgeous coat through regular grooming.

Is Otto right for you?

Otto is a firm favourite amongst the kennel staff as they have spent so much time getting to know him. Otto can be a bit unsure of new people, but he makes friends very quickly, especially when yummy treats are offered! Otto loves outdoor adventures, and his favourite are those that involve water. He will happily travel in the car to fun walking locations! Otto may be a little guy, but he is just bursting with character. Part of what makes him so cute is his goofy side, especially when trotting around with his toy in his mouth. We can’t wait for this lovely boy to find his perfect match. He will add so much fun, love and laughter to his adopter’s life. If you think that Otto is the dog for you, please complete an adoption application and include Otto as a ‘Favourite’ dog. Thank you!
