Are you right for Lenny?

Lenny is a goofball who just loves to play! He is very sweet but also quite big and bouncy, so any children in the home should be teenagers and happy with a more boisterous dog! Lenny will need to be the only pet in the home. He’d love to have some tolerant and playful walking friends though, as he benefits from this and being able to have calm sniffs with a poochy pal. The outside world can be bit overwhelming for him, and he can show this by pulling on lead or reacting to people if they’re running or on a bike. Therefore he will need a home with his own secure garden for lots of off-lead play.

Is Lenny right for you?

Lenny is a sweet, bouncy 3yr old Dobermann. He has spent time in a home and does really well in that environment; he’s toy and treat mad and really friendly with new people! However he does struggle to be left so will need time left alone to be built up very slowly. Luckily he’s great in the car so could easily join his family on trips out and about until he’s happy being left. Lenny is very strong on the lead so will need owners willing to continue his loose lead walking training and that are able to hold him in the meantime. He can get quite frustrated when seeing other dogs out and about so would prefer to live and be walked in a low dog-populated area. With owners that can help him progress his training he will no doubt be a loyal and loving member of the family, as he's proven that he does love a snuggle.
