Are you right for Harley?

Harley is a lively, intelligent, and affectionate 2-year-old Dobermann looking for a home that can keep up with her enthusiasm for life. She thrives in a structured, active environment where she can enjoy plenty of exercise, training, and mental stimulation. With her playful personality and eagerness to engage, Harley will make a fantastic companion for an owner who enjoys an interactive and rewarding relationship with their dog. A secure, private, garden with at least 6ft fencing would be ideal for Harley, as she enjoys having space to explore and play. She is a strong girl and would benefit from an owner who is confident handling large, energetic dogs and keen to continue her lead training to help refine her walking manners. With positive reinforcement and consistency, Harley will develop into a fantastic walking partner. Harley would prefer to be the sole dog in the household but could make friends with calm, confident dogs after careful introductions, as she enjoys social interactions but can be excitable around high-energy dogs. Due to her size and enthusiasm, she would be best suited to a home with older children or adults who are comfortable around an active and affectionate dog. She is looking for an engaged and loving family who will enjoy her playful nature, sharp mind, and loving personality. Harley would prefer a home without cats or small animals.

Is Harley right for you?

Harley is a fun-loving, affectionate, and intelligent girl who thrives on play, training, and spending time with her people. She has a big personality and a strong play drive, loving fetch, tug-of-war, and scent-based activities. She’s happiest when engaged in training or interactive games and would do really well in a structured environment. She is a quick learner who already knows sit, paw, wait, lie down, stay, and leave (in German: "Aus"). She will flourish in a home that enjoys ongoing training, interactive activities, and mental stimulation to keep her engaged and happy. She forms strong, loving bonds with her family and enjoys both affectionate snuggles and active adventures. On walks, Harley is keen to explore and take in her surroundings, she loves going on walks with lots of new sights and smells, and particularly likes watching the birds in the sky. She would benefit from continued lead training and structured exercise to help her stay focused and engaged with her handler. She is confident, bouncy, and friendly around people and is good with traffic, making her a fantastic potential companion on adventures. At home, Harley is full of energy during the day and loves interactive play and being involved in family life. She is crate trained and settles well at night. Harley is used to spending short periods alone and settles with reassurance. She will need a cat-free home to ensure she is fully comfortable in her environment. Harley is looking for a home that will embrace her energetic spirit, intelligence, and affectionate nature. With plenty of engagement, exercise, and love, she will make a loyal, fun, and rewarding companion for an owner who enjoys an active and interactive lifestyle.
