Are you right for Kaine?

If you are looking for a big-hearted, toy-mad best mate, Kaine will be top of your list! This brilliant five-year-old German Shepherd is on the hunt for a fun-loving home where he can be part of the family and enjoy lots of games, walks, and cuddles. Kaine could live with children aged 12 and above, or possibly younger if they are dog-savvy and confident around big bouncy dogs. He could share his home with another dog, although he would be just as happy as your one and only. He would prefer minimal visitors at first while he builds his confidence. Leaving hours will need to be built up slowly as he settles into his new home routine. An active, patient home who will enjoy working on fun training games and offering him plenty of mental stimulation would suit him perfectly.

Is Kaine right for you?

Kaine is an absolute cracker of a dog with a huge love for toys, food, and his favourite people. Once he knows you, he becomes an affectionate lad who loves leaning in for a good side scratch and sticking close by your side. His idea of heaven is chasing after a tennis ball or getting stuck into a good game of tug with a rope toy! He is clever, loves learning new things, and already knows a few tricks like sit, paw, and down. He travels well in the car (hopping in the boot and settling quickly), is calm around traffic, and absolutely thrives when given puzzle toys or snuffle mats to work his brain. Kaine can be a bit overenthusiastic when treats are involved, so he needs a home ready to help him channel that cheeky energy into positive outlets. He is happiest when he has had a good run around, a tasty chew to settle with, and a bit of fuss from his favourite humans. If you have got a toy box full of tennis balls, a sense of humour, and a soft spot for playful goofballs, Kaine might just be the perfect addition to your family.
