Are you right for Max?

Meet the absolutely gorgeous Max! He is a friendly four-year-old Shepherd cross who is looking to get his paws into a forever home after waiting for more than a year. Max is a loving boy who enjoys nothing more than saying hi to everyone he meets and getting lots of fuss. He can walk with other dogs but he would prefer to be the only pet in the home. Max can be quite a bouncy boy so children in the home should be used to big dogs and ideally aged 8 or over. Max LOVES going in the car and has no problem with being left for a few hours a day. Max has hip dysplasia which will require ongoing management in the form of pain relief, hydro and physio. Options for ongoing support with this will be discussed in full at application.

Is Max right for you?

Max is a sweet natured lad who found his way into our care through no fault of his own. He is currently living in a foster home where it took them all but a few minutes to fall in love with him - he loves going for walks, is a fast learner and is fully housetrained. Max is such an affectionate boy and we know he will make a wonderful addition to any home. Please note that you won’t be applying for a specific dog, but you can tell us what type of dog you’re looking for. You can also add up to four favourites to your application to give us an idea of the dogs you like, so we can consider you for similar dogs. Once you’ve submitted your application, we can’t change or update your favourites. Adding a dog to your application is not a reservation but a guide for us to find you a match.
