Are you right for Thor?

Hello.....is it Thor you're looking for? Thor is a friendly and super handsome 2-year-old German Shepherd x Husky. Thor is ideally looking for a home where the youngest are around secondary school age and would be happy around big and sometimes bouncy dogs. Thor is currently living in a foster home where he is being left for a working day but with breaks in between and he is brilliant with this. A secure garden for him to enjoy would be lovely. Thor has hip dysplasia which will require ongoing pain relief and management. Options for ongoing financial support with this will be discussed in full at application.

Is Thor right for you?

Thor is a friendly boy who has found himself at our centre through no fault of his own. He's quite the socialite, always eager to greet everyone with a warm hello and never shy about requesting a snuggle and some affection. He can at times be worried by visitors to the home but with gentle introductions out on walks first he soon warms up to someone. Thor enjoys meeting up with other dogs and has the potential to live with another dog; but due to his hip dysplasia we're seeking a calm home environment for him that can manage his activity levels. Thor is a very sweet boy who we are sure will be a lovely addition to his new family. Could you be the forever home Thor is looking for? Please note that you won’t be applying for a specific dog, but you can tell us what type of dog you’re looking for. You can also add up to four favourites to your application to give us an idea of the dogs you like, so we can consider you for similar dogs. Once you’ve submitted your application, we can’t change or update your favourites. Adding a dog to your application is not a reservation but a guide for us to find you a match.
