Are you right for Lyra?

Lyra is a sensitive girl who is on the search for a home through no fault of her own. She would prefer a calmer home without the hustle and bustle of young children but those of secondary school age would be fine. Although not essential, Lyra would prefer to live with another dog, and does particularly like Lurchers and Greyhounds. As she has a high chase drive she won’t be able to live with cats, and would like her own secure garden

Is Lyra right for you?

Lyra is a sweet girl that is looking forward to finding her loving home. At 3 yrs old she has come into our care as a reluctant handover due to the poor health of her owner. She’s now looking for a family to sit and snuggle with for a lifetime of love. Lyra has been happy being left with the company of another dog for an hour or so, but would appreciate this being built up, especially if she’s the only dog. Fortunately she’s happy to jump into a car so while we’re not sure what she’s like travelling, trips out could well be a possibility. Lyra has really tried to remain housetrained in kennels so should pick this up again quickly once in a home. She’s a loyal, happy girl who has lots of love to give her lucky new family.
