Are you right for Fiyero?

Fiyero is looking for a home with adopters who can give him lots of adventures and love. As he can be a bit bouncy when excited, he can live with sensible children aged 10 years and over who will be sensible and calm with handling and interacting with him. Fiyero will not be able to live with cats or small animals due to his racing history, and would prefer to be the only dog in the home. However, he would be happy with walking buddies when out and about. Fiyero will be going home on a lead and muzzle disclaimer due to his prey drive. Having lived most of his life in kennels, he will need time to learn the rules of a home and he will need a refresher on his housetraining, so a private, secure garden is preferred. Fiyero gets worried being left alone so is looking for an adopter who is home the majority of the time, he could build up to being left for short periods of time, but this should be introduced once he has had time to get used to his new home and routine and ideally be after a walk so he can relax and have a long snooze! Fiyero will need to meet his adopters a few times prior to going home so please bear this in mind when applying. Please note that should you be shortlisted, our rehoming process usually takes between 7 - 10 days.

Is Fiyero right for you?

Handsome Fiyero is a 4 and a half year old Greyhound, he’s a huggable hunk who is a joy to be around. He loves to run, sniff and goof around, he has the silliest grin when he’s bounding around and loves to wander over for a cuddle. In true Greyhound fashion, he likes to lean on you whilst getting his fusses. Although he loves a zoom around and a chance to stretch his long legs, Fiyero has such a loving, affectionate side and adores cuddles with his humans! He likes toys, but doesn't always know what to do with them, he is a fun, playful and cuddly lad who will be such a wonderful addition to a lucky home.
