Are you right for Norman?

Norman can live with children over the age of 14. but needs to be the only dog. He has spent his life in a kennel environment and patience may be needed with house training. Norm is easily spooked and will need secure garden with at least a six foot fence.

Is Norman right for you?

Norman is a shy boy who really enjoys the company of other dogs, but sadly due to a minor disagreement in the kennel, we've had to separate him from his pal Dan. For now he'll need to be the only dog at home but we'll continue to keep him socialising as he gets a lot from it.. Norm likes to be allowed time to figure people out before they come for a cuddle, as he's a little wary of new people. Allowing him this time means he can build his confidence and makes him more likely to warm to people more quickly in the future. He is also rather sensitive to loud and sudden noises, such as the snapping of a twig. He would very likely do will with a family that has experience of ex-racers. Norman has spent his life in kennels as he's an ex-racing dog and he's used to wearing his muzzle when he goes for walks. Greyhounds have a high prey drive and this muzzle gives protection to our wildlife and any small dogs or other animals that may be around.
