Are you right for Moose?

Moose is a very handsome five-year-old Cane Corso cross who is on the lookout for a new forever home. His dream-come-true home would be somewhere rural where there won't be people walking past the house. He would like his own private and fully secure garden to enjoy and potter about in with his new family. The household should consist of adults only and he would like to be the only pet in the home, although he could have dog friends to meet up with out on walks. Moose can be worried by strangers approaching him and is therefore muzzled and kept on a lead out on walks, he is fully muzzle trained so doesn't mind this at all! Moose would love to find someone who is home for the majority of the day, especially when he's settling in. If you are matched with Moose, you will need to visit him regularly at the centre for as long as it takes for Moose to show you his true lovable side. If you live in rented accommodation, please have written permission from your landlord before applying. Please note, we have sought expert advice and we do not believe that the dog named above would be considered an American Bully XL type.

Is Moose right for you?

Moose is a big boy with an even bigger heart. When he has built a bond with someone he loves to show you his affection by leaning right into your legs for a bum scratch! Moose loves to chase his toys around and is guaranteed to make you smile with his puppy-like play style. When he's not up and about, he loves a cuddle on the sofa and will relish all the fuss you can give him. Moose is a huge foodie which will come in handy with any training needs, including confidence building around certain noises, new environments and to help him build a positive association around the front door. Our training and behaviour team have worked wonders on this so far and they'll hand over all of his training to be continued in the home. Moose is a lovely boy who will be a brilliant companion for someone who loves big cuddly dogs!
