Are you right for Walter?

Walter will need to be the only dog in the home but can live with children over the age of 12. He is fully house trained but will need any alone time at home building up gradually as he hasn't been used to being by himself.

Is Walter right for you?

Walter is an amazing lad who was adopted from us as an eight week old pup, but has sadly found himself back at the centre due to no fault of his own. Now six, he still thinks of himself as a small pup with little legs! He is a fantastic boy who is always full of beans, he has really settled into kennels and loves to go out for his daily walks. Toys are Walter's favourite thing in the entire world, he absolutely loves chasing them, tugging them and relaxing in his kennel chewing them, so adopters will have to have a box ready waiting for him at home! He may not be interested in them while settling in though as he will be doing a lot of investigating first. He instantly loves anyone he meets but his approach is often accompanied by a lot of enthusiasm and all four feet! His adopters will need to teach him to keep "four on the floor" so that he doesn't cause any excitement filled mishaps. Walter isn't a fan of other dogs and can be quite reactive out on walks therefore walking him at quieter times of the day would be beneficial and safer.
