Are you right for Shawn?

Shawn is ready to find his forever home with committed owners. He will require on-going training with help from his family. He can be very excitable which can lead to him jumping up and mouthing. For this reason, he would be best to live with older teens – 16yrs+. Someone at home throughout the day would be Shawns dream, to keep him company and entertained. Any alone time will need to be built up gradually. He is dog social and is very good at adapting his playstyle to suit. He may potentially share the home with another playful pooch pending a successful introduction. Although he can be a social butterfly there are times, he can react to dogs out on walks so these outings should be kept on the lead and he can practice his focus to you. A home with a garden will be ideal where he can have plenty of zoomies!

Is Shawn right for you?

Shawn is a firm favourite with the staff here, he’s a pure joy to be around and always puts a smile on our faces! We are sure he’ll bring plenty of laughter to his new family and will definitely keep you on your toes. He’s being a star pupil with his training which our Team can demonstrate with you and Shawn before adoption. His favourite reward is cheese! After his training sessions Shawn loves nothing more than doing zoomies with his toys. This lad is full of character, and it will be such a reward to work with him. You won’t be applying for a specific dog, but you can tell us what type of dog you’re looking for. You can also add up to four favourites to your application to give us an idea of the dogs you like, so we can consider you for similar dogs. Once you’ve submitted your application, we can’t change or update your favourites. Adding a dog to your application is not a reservation but a guide for us to find you a match.
