A Lurcher is a sighthound (such as a Greyhound, Whippet or Saluki) crossed with another breed of dog (such as a Collie or Terrier). Because of this, they can be of different sizes with variable hair lengths.

Lurchers are known for their long, graceful frames and deep chests. As Lurchers can come from many different breeds, they can be a wide variety of colours.
