Are you right for Nuche?

Young Nuche is looking for a loving, fun, active home with adult adopters. Nuche loves to be with his people as much as possible. Any time left alone will need to be built up gradually. He will need a home without cats, small furries, and birds as he has a chase drive. He has no history of being around livestock. He would be best suited being the only dog in the home and have known doggy pals when out and about. Initially Nuche will need quiet walks without too many distractions to build up his confidence. He will need space at home to play, a home with a garden, and or regular access to a large, secure field. He is under socialised but has great potential. Nuche is housetrained and travels well in the car.

Is Nuche right for you?

Nuche is a sweet one-year-old Lurcher. He has oodles of energy that he likes to put into action by using his mind. He is a smart lad, he knows a ‘sit’, ‘paw’, ‘down’, and ‘wait’. Why not teach him new tricks with positive reward training. His favourite rewards are meaty treats, and chicken. Nuche is a fun-loving boy, he enjoys playing with toys, he loves playing with a football and he likes tug games, he can get over aroused during play and mouth so he is doing well at learning a drop, sit and wait. Playing scent games are a great way to engage his clever mind, burn off energy, encourage calmer behaviour, build confidence, and teach problem solving skills. He is great and really enjoys sniffing out and finding treats and a certain toy. Nuche enjoys finding water on his walks, he likes to dip in the stream to cool off. He is affectionate and adores a fuss. Although shy and lacking in confidence, he is instantly friendly with new people. Although Nuche has previously lived with other dogs, he can be worried about making new canine friends, being unsure with the initial meet and greet. Initially Nuche's walks will need to be quiet so he does not feel overwhelmed. Once he knows a dog, he likes their company on a walk.
