Are you right for Alpha?

This is the amazing Alpha! He’s a sweet, 12-year-old Pomeranian looking for a relaxing retirement home, which is based within a 30-minute drive to our rehoming centre – BN43 5LT. A local home is necessary due to Alpha’s diabetes. His adopters will need to make regular visits to our centre whilst getting to know him, so that they can learn how to confidently administer his daily injections. Alpha is a friendly chap and loves being around his favourite people. We feel he would best be suited to a home with older children aged 12 and over, who could understand that he may like his own space, or a rest on occasion. Being an older boy, Alpha would prefer a calm home environment, where he can enjoy some peace and quiet without too much hustle and bustle going on around him. He will need to be the only pet as he likes to have all the fuss and attention to himself but could have walking buddies with other dogs of a similar size and gentle nature to his own. Due to his breed, he will need regular grooming to keep his coat looking fabulous!

Is Alpha right for you?

Alpha has a cheeky, playful character that is hard not to love! He highly values his human friendships and loves nothing more than spending quality time with his favourite people. Other than fusses and attention, Alpha’s most-enjoyed pastimes include beach walks and paddling in the puddles, eating his food in fun enrichment puzzles, and playing a game of fetch! Ultimately, we think he would make an excellent little companion to a patient family who can fill his life with fun! Could it be you?
