Are you right for Mel?

3- year 4mth old Mel is looking for her forever home. She can live in an Adult only home and needs to live with another dog (female only and pending a successful dog mix at the centre). Mel is happy to be left for up to 2 hrs. She is not housetrained and will need a private garden to help assist with ongoing training. Mel will need to be in a home with very few visitors due to her fearful nature. Mel's new adopters will need to come to the centre for multiple meets and be aware that this will be an ongoing process, this will be with the guidance of our Training behaviour team.

Is Mel right for you?

This lovely little girl has not had the best start to life and is very sheltered from the big world, this makes everything very scary for her as she has been used for breeding. Mel is currently on behaviour medication to help ease her stress and anxieties; this can be discussed further with staff at the centre. If you are looking to ‘rescue’ a dog, Mel is the true meaning and will be so rewarding later down the line, but this will take a considerable amount of time, love, patience and understanding.
