Are you right for Lexi?

Lexi is an endearing Labrador cross, aged 8. She loves spending time with her humans and is always keen to make new friends. Although she’s very friendly and easy-going in many ways, Lexi can be uneasy when people come too close to her whilst she’s eating, or if they challenge her around food. Because of this, we feel she is best suited to a home where the youngest members of her family are of secondary school age, sensible, and able to be understanding of her need for space occasionally. Lexi is selective of which dogs she likes and prefers to keep to herself when out on her walks. She’ll need to be the only pet in the household. Lexi was house-trained in her previous home but may need some help getting back into a toileting routine after spending some time in kennels. Lexi absolutely adores the company of her favourite people and much prefers if there is always someone around to help her feel at ease. Leaving her alone at home should be kept to a minimum where possible, and only built up very gradually once she is fully settled into her new environment.

Is Lexi right for you?

Lexi’s biggest loves in life are gobbling up a tasty meal and receiving fuss and attention from her humans – she’s especially fond of a scratch under the chin! Her other favourite pastimes include playing with her toys, and exploring on peaceful walks, where there’s lots to sniff. She’s a great traveller in the car but would benefit from using a ramp as she is entering her senior years. Lexi is bound to make a wonderful companion for adopters who can dedicate lots of love and time to her.
