Are you right for Barney?

Barney is a 1 year old Labrador cross looking for an active home where he can go on adventures! He would like to be the only pet in the home but could live with children aged 14 and over. Barney is just a big silly pup who is still learning about life, and so will require his new family to continue his training and socialisation, but he is very keen to learn new things! He can be a little nervous of new situations and would like understanding owners who can take things at his pace. He would love to have his own garden where he can come and go from and play with his toys!.

Is Barney right for you?

Barney came into our care as a stray, and so his history is unknown. He would like his new family to be around for most of the day to help settle him in, gradually building up how long he is left for. He can feel a little worried at first, but once he knows you his loving and goofy side will be sure to come out! He loves a fuss and is a very affectionate boy who loves to spend time with his people. He has the softest and most snuggly coat that you are sure to fall in love with! Barney is great at traveling in the car, he settles when driving and will jump into the back seat by himself! Barney is good at passing other dogs when out on walks but can be vocal if they get too close. He would like his new family to continue his socialisation and training, and slowly introduce him to other doggy friends. AWE licence number 176240 by West Lothian Council.
