Are you right for Lowry?

Lowry is looking for a calm and predicable home in a quieter area with loving adopters who can give her the time she needs to settle in and advocate for her in situations she may find uncomfortable. Adopters with knowledge of her breed and understanding of her grooming needs would be ideal. Lowry is a sweet girl and can live with children aged 12 and over who will play with her nicely and give her space to rest when she needs. She can be quite insecure around other dogs, so is looking to be the only pet in the home and to go on walks in lower dog populated areas. Lowry has some training under her belt, she does a lovely “Sit” and “Paw”, she is keen to learn more in short, sweet sessions for a soft, smelly treat and takes them very gently. She will need a refresher on her housetraining, so access to a private, secure garden is essential. Lowry can be quite worried being left alone, so is looking for an adopter who is home the majority of the time, especially to begin with, any leaving time should be introduced slowly once she has had time to get used to her new home and routine and would ideally be after a walk so she can relax and have a snooze! Lowry will need to meet her adopters multiple times prior to going home so please bear this in mind when applying. Please note that should you be shortlisted, our rehoming process usually takes up to 7 days, and potential adopters would be required to come up to the centre to meet her within 48hrs of being shortlisted.

Is Lowry right for you?

Sweet and fluffy Lowry is a 2 year old Schnauzer/Poodle Cross who seems quite independent at first but once you get to know her you’ll find she’s quite an affectionate and cheeky girl. Once a bond is built she loves a fuss and likes to be a little lap dog. She likes her toys, she is happy to play independently, but does love a game of fetch with her favourite humans. She enjoys a sniffy walk in quieter areas so she can explore her surroundings in peace. This little sweetie is looking for her new home.
