Are you right for Nala?

Nala is a beautiful lady seeking her forever home. She has built up some really good relationships with the staff here, and will make a wonderful companion once she has settled in. She has stolen the hearts of the staff here despite taking a little while to settle in. Whilst a private garden isn't essential and outdoor space would be preferable. Nala, is currently on medication for her skin, this will be ongoing, there could be financial support for this if need be.

Is Nala right for you?

Nala is a sweet four-year-old Shar Pei who if given a little time and patience will soon become a loyal and loving best friend. She finds a lot of confidence from her handler. She came into our care after her owner was unable to keep her. In the previous home she had regular visitors of all ages, however initially on arrival here she found meeting new people a little worrying. Shar Peis are a unique breed who take time to adjust to new environments. Nala could be left for a couple of hours initially but this would need building up over time. During the day here, Nala enjoys laying out in garden, while she is resting. With the help from her handlers, she is finally coming out of her shell. She is incredibly intelligent and loves to learn new things, particularly how to solve puzzle toys. Nala loves to use her nose and will often follow scent trails around our fields without a care in the world. Nala would be better suited living with secondary school age or older.
