Are you right for Milo?

Milo can live with children aged 16 and over. He is house trained but not used to being alone. He is NOT cat friendly and should be kept away from them. Milo has been under veterinary examination for some time as he is prone to collapsing, and our vets believe he suffers from narcolepsy. We are happy to discuss this in more detail with applicants.

Is Milo right for you?

Milo is a very excitable blend of Cocker Spaniel, Jack Russell and Beagle! He's not quite two years old and a very boisterous lad so he will need a family who can keep up with him. Milo is rather strong on his lead and his Beagle nose comes to the fore when he's out for walks! He likes to say hello to people and other dogs and gets along very well with them, and we’d be happy to rehome him with another dog. Milo’s adopters will need to have a lot of patience with his quirks! He’s in a foster home and has been known to bark the place down because the laundry basket was in a different place! His family will have full, ongoing support from the training and behaviour team at the centre. Milo loves his treats and enjoys learning so would thrive with an owner who wants to continue training. He travels happily in a car and will jump readily into the boot, waiting for his next adventure! Milo isn’t used to being left alone but his adopters can gradually build up solo time so that he learns it’s OK to by alone for a little while. He really likes company and is very affectionate with people.
